Creative Ware ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Smart Tasks mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Location Data

The App collects your precise location to provide location-based reminders (geofencing) and to find nearby places. Location data is:

• Used on-device to trigger geofence notifications
• Sent to Google Places API when you search for a location
• Not stored on our servers

Analytics and Crash Data

The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to collect:

• App usage patterns (screens viewed, feature usage)
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics
• Device identifiers (Firebase Installation ID)

This data helps us improve app stability and understand how features are used. It is not linked to your identity.

Voice Input

When you use the voice task creation feature, your speech is processed on-device by Android's speech recognition service. The transcribed text is sent to Google's Gemini AI (via Firebase AI Logic) to extract task details. We do not store your voice recordings or transcribed text on any server.

Google Account (Optional)

If you enable Google Tasks sync, your Google account email is stored locally on your device to authenticate with Google's Tasks API. We do not transmit your email to our servers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, address, phone number)
• Payment or financial information (purchases are handled entirely by Google Play)
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Advertising identifiers

How We Use Information

• Location: To deliver location-based reminders and place search results
• Analytics: To monitor app performance and improve features
• Crash data: To identify and fix bugs

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Data is transmitted only to Google services (Firebase, Google Places, Google Tasks) as necessary for app functionality, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

• Task data: Stored locally on your device. Deleted when you uninstall the App or clear app data.
• Analytics and crash data: Retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies (typically 14 months for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics).

Data Security

All network communications use HTTPS encryption. Task data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's security features.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Choices

• Location: You can revoke location permissions in your device settings. Location reminders will not function without location access.
• Analytics: You can opt out of Firebase Analytics by disabling usage and diagnostics sharing in your device settings.
• Data deletion: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website with an updated "Last updated" date.
